Godfred Otuteye,President and Chief Executive Officer
Godfred Otuteye has led Money Mailer since 1999. Between 1992 and 1999, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Money Mailer, he served as chief operating officer of Datadesk International, Inc., a manufacturer of computer keyboards and other input devices. Prior to that, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer of Micro D, Inc. (now Ingram Micro), a wholesale distributor of microcomputer products. Otuteye has also served as chief financial officer of a project construction company. He also held several positions at Union Bank, Los Angeles, including vice president and senior loan and credit officer. Raised in Ghana, Africa, Otuteye is a graduate of Harvard and the University of Southern California, is married and has three children.
Steven Gray, Chief Operating Officer
Steven Gray became Chief Operating Officer in July 2007. Prior to his appointment, Gray was Senior Vice President of National Markets and spent eight years with Harte-Hanks Inc., a global leader in the direct marketing industry. During his time at Harte-Hanks, Gray was responsible for generating new business across all verticals. From 1994 to 1998, Gray held an array of sales and marketing positions at Moore Response Marketing Services, a publicly held direct marketing organization. In all of these positions, Gray was recognized by employers and colleagues alike for his exceptional knowledge of direct marketing CRM. Gray is a seasoned sales professional who has managed large sales organizations and changed their focus from product sales to a solutions-oriented approach. He is a strong communicator, developing close relationships with customers. Raised in Southern California, Gray is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton, and is married with three boys.
John Patinella, Senior Vice President, Franchise Operations
John Patinella became Senior Vice President, Franchise Operations in March of 2001. Prior to his appointment, Patinella was Regional President for Money Mailer of the Midwest, at the time Money Mailer’s largest independent regional subfranchisor based in Chicago. Patinella’s position with the region spanned over 15 years with increasing responsibility. Patinella joined the team as a franchisee in 1986. Raised in the Chicago area, Patinella is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and is married with two girls.
Melissa Chyba, Vice President, National Sales
Melissa Chyba became Vice President of National Sales in August 2007. Chyba is a client-focused and performance-driven leader. Prior to her appointment at Money Mailer, Chyba was a district sales manager with Advo, where she was responsible for a large sales team that generated more than $40 million in annual sales. Chyba’s impressive sales career first began in 1995 as account executive and regional sales manager of Harte-Hanks PennySaver in Torrance, Calif., and as general sales manager at Trader Publishing Company in San Diego. At Trader Publishing Company, she was responsible for leadership of a 35-member sales team and consistently created, developed and implemented strategic plans to generate new revenue in a mature market. Chyba brings to bear an impressive 13 years of experience in record-setting revenues, profit and business growth within turnaround and rapid-change environments. Chyba earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business management from the University of Phoenix, is married and has a daughter.
Susan Cooper, Vice President, Corporate Markets
Susan Cooper became Vice President of Corporate Markets in May 2008. Coper is responsible for building and leading the sales efforts of the company's sales force within all corporate owned markets. With nearly two decades of experience nthe direct marketing industry, Cooper is a skilled professional with senior-level work experience at some of the industry's largest companies. Prior to Money Mailer, she spent much of her career at Harte-Hanks Communications/Penny Saver, most recently as Vice President of Inside Sales, from 2003 to 2007, and previously as Regional Sales Manager, from 1990 to 1995. Coooper also worked at ADVO, Inc. and Cox Target Media/VAL-PAK DMS, where she held the post of General Manager of Franchise Support. Cooper earned a Bachelor's Degree in Eduction at West Liberty State College in West Liberty, West Virginia and a Master's Degree in Education at West Virginia University.
Dennis Jenkins,Vice President, Franchise Licensing
Dennis Jenkins is Vice President of Franchise Licensing and has been with Money Mailer since April of 2000. Prior to Money Mailer, Jenkins spent five years as vice president of sales and marketing for American Security Distribution, one of the largest national distributors of security hardware. He has also held senior management positions with divisions of Beatrice and Black & Decker. Jenkins has spearheaded two divisional turnarounds and been recognized for his ability to recruit top sales talent and develop innovative sales processes that produce superior results. He began his career with Proctor & Gamble after completing his MBA at the University of Georgia. Jenkins is married with two daughters.
John Gramata,Vice President, Marketing
John Gramata is an experienced direct marketing professional, recognized for his expertise in CRM, database marketing, analytics and client services. Over the course of his career, he has had the opportunity to bring direct marketing programs to a multitude of high profile business-to-business, and business-to-consumer clients within the technology, mortgage and automotive sectors. By understanding market segments and interpreting company goals, he has proven success with accurately developing business cases, managing complex marketing programs, managing data flow as well as bringing standardized analytics packages to multiple Fortune 500 companies.
John's experience has been valued by numerous high profile organizations and agencies including Lincoln-Mercury, Jaguar, Land Rover, Nissan, Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Toyota, Ditceh.com, Gateway Computers, Harte-Hanks, The Marketing Store and Young & Rubicam. He holds a Master's of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Marketing from National University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California at Irvine.
